Carol Dyer

Carol Dyer is an accomplished painter of early American traditions. Authenticity and attention to detail are trademarks of her work, which celebrate American life at the turn of the century. Carol is best known for her "Washington Christmas Series," paintings of historic buildings that have commanded significant audiences throughout the century. Her first paintings and prints focused on scenes and landmarks from the Delaware coast. Most recently, Carol has done a series of works for Mystic Seaport of famous port cities around the century. Impressions of her travels to Baltimore, Boston, San Francisco and Philadelphia, among other cities, are colorfully displayed in these limited edition prints. Carol's work can be found in the Smithsonian, Library of Congress and numerous galleries and private collections through the United States. During summer months, Carol is the folk-artist-in-residence of Bethany Beach, Delaware.
