BOBBY, St. Lawrence River Skiff
Hunt, J.D.
Description
J. Damar Hunt of Alexandria Bay, New York, the builder of BOBBY, was known for fast skiffs. With her symmetrical shape and smooth, guideboat-lap planking, this 230-pound skiff is relatively sharpened and long, with more than the usual amount of deadrise and low ends to cut windage. She is set up with a single rowing station, but would make a nice double if the seating was worked out. From 87 Boat Designs by Ben Fuller.
