FIDDLER, Herreshoff, Buzzards Bay 15
SKU:WSP.7.70
FIDDLER, a 24' 9" Buzzard's Bay 15, was designed by Nathanael G. Herreshoff and built in 1902. The first 11 boats of the Buzzards Bay 15 Class were delivered to members of the Beverly Yacht Club in Marion, Massachusetts for the summer racing season of 1899. The Buzzards Bay 15 was the second of the Herreshoff One-designs.
These plans were developed as a basic record of the vessel and are not sufficiently detailed for construction purposes. The Herreshoffs almost never drew lines plans; there are no offset or original sail plans. Hence, any boat or model built from this information is only an approximation of the original. Sale of these plans does not convey the right to use the Herreshoff name.
