Ladies Tennis Champion: Mary Browne, 1917

Mary Kendall Browne (1891-1971) was a tennis champion who won the U.S. Open three times and ranked as the top female lawn tennis player in the United States in 1913 and 1914. 

She was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1957.
