MADELONis a classic example, built by George F. Lawley & Sons of Neponset, Massachusetts, one of the leading producers of elegant yachts and tenders. Julia Rabinowitz's plans do her justice, with lots of details such as plank widths and bevels, tapers to risers and the keel batten, and alternative stem and deadwood construction for someone who can't get the hackmatack crook used here.
