The Newport Shore Boat, smaller cousin to BUTTON SWAN, a heavily built, 11’ lapstrake boat that could be rowed, sailed, or sculled out of the tiny coves that are interspersed between the mansions lining the seaward side of Ocean Avenue in Newport.
